The Holy Grail of guitars, the Gibson EDS-1275! This guitar is the 2007 Gibson EDS-1275 Jimmy Page edition. This guitar should not be confused with other Gibson double necks. This edition is one in a series of Gibsons Vintage Original Specs (VOS). Only 250 were produced for worldwide distribution. The first 25 were signed by Jimmy Page and were given a full distressing to as close as possible mimic Jimmy Pages original guitar. This guitar is #46 and I have registered it with Gibson. Being one of the early other 225 guitars, this guitar has some of the distressing on the pick guard and metal parts that the first 25 had. I bought this guitar from Guitar Center in Rockville MD the first day it was available. That left 223 for the rest of the world. Very few guitar distributers had this guitar for sale. This guitar is built and set-up like no other double neck. It is constructed of 1 solid piece of mahogany for the body and one piece for each neck. I have played this guitar very little. But I have played it! A truly amazing guitar! With the frets being plecked in the custom shop and an A1 setup, this guitar plays like a dream. And the sound the tone is incredible! It still has its original strings from the factory and they still look brand new. Note the red wrapping on the strings at the six string tail piece. The original case has all of the original paper work, cable, etc and of course the COA signed by Jimmy Page. It has been in my collection in a smoke free, humidity controlled environment all that time. This guitar would be a nice addition to any collection or a unique working instrument ready to play and ready for the stage. This guitar is in excellent condition as described above and shown in the photos.
