Maybe a huge fan out there that wants an instant collection? Note that these guitars were never owned or played by the Beatles, they are just similar models. I have owned all of these guitars for 10+ years and have never played them out. The have been gently played and displayed in my smoke free home. Descriptions of each guitar and links to the Beatles guitars they represent are below. 1964 Gretsch Chet Atkins: As played by John Lennon. This guitar is in great shape for a 52 year old! Double binding is all intact, no rot like you see on many of these. Painted f-holes, mute functions as is should. Bigsby licensed Gretsch tailpiece, thumbnail fret markers. Body guard on the back is in great shape as well. The pickguard may be an aftermarket John took his off anyway! There is a chip or scratch here or there, and some surface finish cracks, but nothing out of the ordinary for a guitar of this vintage. Action is good, and it sounds great amplified or unplugged. Currently strung with flatwounds. Comes with original grey hardshell case that shows its age but serves it’s purpose! Double bound, with unbound f-hole. Triangle inlay fret markers, trapeze tailpiece and toaster pickups. In “like new” condition With original hardshell case. Natural finish, no pick guard, “Like New” with hardshell case. Okay a little liberty here, this one has the standard stop tailpiece versus the Maestro Vibrola and dot fret markers versus trapezoid, but it’s in the ballpark! Comes with soft case. Again, not exact, this one doesn’t have the rosewood headstock, but does have the rosewood capped body. This one is like new, still has plastic on the pickguard. Please note that there is some discoloration under the tailpiece. It is shown in the last picture. Appears to be under the finish, I think it is a “from the factory” flaw. Comes with Fender soft case. So, there you have it. If these don’t sell as a collection, I will be re-listing them separately next week. Please feel free to message me with any questions or if you would like to see additional pictures.
