Angus Young has always preferred the Gibson SG as his choice of guitar, which first appealed to him due to their light weight and playability, his very first SG was a 1970 just like this one! The sustain and tone on this guitar are outstanding! It sounds great – meaty and big! Very good for crunch. The clean sounds are very strong as well. I can see why it is a standard for rock musicians. 100% original parts, Feb 1970 dated pots, killer vintage tone, original bridge, Lyre Vibrola tailpiece, tuners, etc. This guitar is in FANTASTIC condition. Has had a neck repair, like the majority of the late sixties and early seventies SG’s. Pro job, detailed in pictures. Showing only minor play wear such as some light buckle wear on back.
