It’s sort of a brown/chocolate, satin-type finish, as I’m not exactly sure of the Fender color schemes utilized during that year (2002). However, nothing that I would categorize as major or indicative of abuse or neglect. It has a fresh set of strings installed, as well as a new Fender factory pickguard and back plate installed, as the originals were discolored from age perhaps from exposure to sunlight? It’s been hooked up and tested to ensure proper function. As a bonus, and to help protect it during transit, the Wings soft case shown in the pictures is included. Does this item come with?
