Up for sale is all original and very well-maintained 1979 Fender Stratocaster. I made detailed pictures of everything for you to see please, scroll down, it’s a beauty worth looking! The only non-original part I was able to find is one string ferrule on the back, while the 5 remaining ones are original. The guitar is in incredible shape for it’s age. There are no breaks, no cracks or separations in the wood, the neck is straight, the action is low and it plays wonderful. Frets appear to be original, but have plenty of life left. Even if it had a re-fret job at some point, it must’ve been done so well that I wouldn’t be able to tell, so I’m assuming these are original frets. The electronics and all solder joints are original and untouched as well. You can see it all in the pics. The only issue is the volume pot – it’s a little worn out and cuts the volume when dialed down. So it’s either max volume or no sound, but I used it like that for a LONG time, I didn’t want to replace the pot since it’s original. I’ll include a brand new CTS volume pot in case you want to change it. I’ll even replace it myself and include the original pot if you want me to – please ask. Original case included as seen in the pictures. Of all 70’s Fender Strats out there there’s not many in such good shape and with no modifications, it doesn’t get much better than this. You won’t be disappointed. Feel free to ask all questions you may have.
