Stepping up from the American Standard series, the Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster tacks on a few extra appointments that appeal to higher-end sensibilities. Of course, the American Deluxe Strat has the traditional offset body, but includes Fender’s Noiseless pickups, C-shaped neck profile with abalone dot inlays, and more. If you want more out of your American Standard Strat, the Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster might be for you. Now heres when it gets interesting. After purchasing the guitar I ordered a custom loaded pickguard from Pickers Parts. This specific item is no longer available. It features 3 Lace Sensor Hot Gold pickups, along with a custom 3 way toggle switch that was installed replacing the 1st tone knob. It makes this guitar INCREDIBLY versatile, giving it the ability to NAIL tones of different era strats from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s! This was just always THE guitar Id keep going back to when I needed ANY kind of Fender sound. Id love to see this go to a good home! The condition of the guitar is excellent overall, save for 2 very small knicks on the bottom edge of the guitar (I tried to get the best picture of them possible). Other than that, some VERY light grazing here and there, but otherwise absolutely perfect throughout. The guitar has been smoke free studio kept and never gigged with since new. A BRAND NEW pearl white pickguard that still has the plastic wrap on it! ALL of the original parts including the pickups and volume/tone knobs. Original box for the Lace Sensor pickups that include the CD/DVD with them. Original paper that came with the guitar detailing the S-1 switching system configurations (not pictured).
