Vintage 1963 Fender Stratocaster Strat Electric Guitar w/ Case Pre CBS #27932. DESCRIPTION : This listing is for a 1963 Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar with a Fender hard shell case. The Neck and body appear to be original with only a few original parts. The rest of the guitar, including the paint are not original. Finish Color: Yellow aged Olympic White Maybe? Tone: 050432 1 MEG AUD 0229 CTS. Tone: 050432 1 MEG AUD? Weight: 7.85 lbs. Nut Width: 1 2/3. Scale Length: 25.5. General Neck Shape: Standard C shape. Knob and Switch Configuration: 1-volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, and a 5-position pick-up selector switch. Modern style molded Fender Case. Neck APR 63B (Appeared to have been refinished and/or stained on the back). Finish on body and neck. Frets (The frets are in excellent condition, which implies it may have been re-refretted). PHYSICAL CONDITION : Very Good- This guitar shows moderate to regular use as it has some pick marks on the pick guard. The fret-board has three clay dot markers missing. The frets are in great condition with no divots. It appears that it was re-fretted at some point. There’s a small 1/2″ x 1/4″ chip at the top of the back of the neck. One of the strap buttons is missing. WORKING CONDITION : Very Good. Warm and familiar neck with very nice action and inviting naturally aged fretboard. This was a guitar played by a professional and set-up for contemporary use with the newer electronics and pots etc. So it is a practical mix of genuine vintage relic and modern touches, The chip on the back of the neck is high enough so it doesn’t affect your playing.
