Very good and nice guitar. It did come from a smoker’s home. I sealed it up in a really large plastic bag where I had multiple bags of arm and hammer open and a bunch of drier sheets. I did that for maybe a week and a half or so. It now smells like a fresh spring air drier sheet instead of an ash tray but I don’t know. A strong nose could catch hints maybe? I know this, a smoke filled item when set in a room will make the entire room smell like smoke. You can’t get away from that. After I pulled it out of that bag it has since spent more than the last month in my back living room and you cannot smell smoke or anything when you walk in. And trust me, if my wife had smelled so much as even the slightest hint of smoke I would have had to load it up and take it straight to the pawn shop and just taken whatever they would give. However, she didn’t. Never noticed it since and it’s been sitting on a stand in the living room for well over a month. I never washed it or cleaned the guitar in any way.
