What you are looking at is the very rare hard to find 1988 Gibson LesPaul Custom Lite with gold hardware in the most sought after Black Beauty colorwith case. If that didnt make it rareenough, this is one of only a few that had the classic 4 speed knob set upcarried over from 1987. Most of 1988models only had the 3 knobs, which changed the classic look. This is not the reissue- this is the original from the 80s! The biggest complaint players were giving Gibson at the time was howuncomfortable the Les Pauls were to play. Gibson came up with 2 ways to solve the problem with their revolutionaryLite model. 1 By featuring a thinner body they retained all of the features andsustain, but reduced the weight to only 7.8lbs. 2 They introduced a contoured back (similar to a Fender Strat) so theguitars back didnt dig into your ribs. If your back isdreading those 60 minute gigs, you need this guitar. Current frets are in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. Very fast string set up. Its ready to rip!
