For sale is a 2006 Gibson Les Paul G0 in beautiful plain top Honeyburst. If you are looking for mojo, this Gibson reissue has it in spades. This beautiful lady has been player aged, with the stop tail and ABR bridge having a mild tarnish. The pickups have been swapped to a pair of Wolfetone Grey Wolf with lightly aged nickel covers, to match the hardware nicely. For those folks who know little about the difference between G0 and R0. R0 is a Gibson custom shop built guitar based on 1960 spec guitars. G0 is an exclusive run of Guitar Center guitars built in the Gibson custom shop, based on 1960 spec guitars. Both guitars are R0 tonewoods with carefully book matches tops. G0 has R0 stamped inside the cavity, noting that the guitars are truly one and the same. The pots and caps in this guitar have been swapped to CTS no load tone pots and Russian PIO caps, complete with volume push/pull for split coil sounds. All electronic work has been professionally installed by a very reliable local tech. You cant go wrong with a player grade guitar. This G0 still has plenty of fret life, and plays fast and creamy like butter. The finish has worn a bit on the neck. You will also find various dings along the body and headstock.
