Here’s a super nice and clean 1989 Epiphone Les Paul Custom finished in Ebony with gold hardware. First year set neck construction and last year of the Open Book Headstock. Neck joint is long tenon. All Original pickups and hardware but freshly re-wired with one of my pre-wired harnesses to correct some excessively scratchy pots and suspect toggle switch. CTS 450G 500 k Potentiometers. Orange Drop 715P 600v. Switchcraft Short Frame Toggle w/ Vintage Pushback Braided Shield. Switchcraft #11 Output Jack. This guitar plays and sounds great! It shows very little playing wear – especially for a nearly 30 year old example. The most notable blemish is a small chip on the back at the edge of the toggle cover. All the binding is in fantastic condition. The neck is straight, the truss rod adjusts properly, and fretwear is minimal. The original pickguard is not available.
