The vintage example this is modeled after was made famous by Kurt Cobain who owned one of only two Gospels claimed to be built in the 1960’s. I’m the second owner of this guitar. This beautiful, well built, and extremely rare reissue guitar is in excellent all around condition. It was built at Mosrite Of Classics of Japan. All of the electronics work perfectly. Tone and volume pots roll without any pops or scratchiness. 3-way switch works without any pops or scratchiness. Both pickups sound wonderful and really portray the vintage, Mosrite single coil tones. Tuners also turn very easily without any hangups. Frets are in excellent condition with little to no wear (even in the first position). There are various dings, scuffs, and scratches throughout the guitar. I took quite a few pictures to show the more severe defects, but, here are some of them explained. Small dent (looks to be from manufacturing as it’s under the finish) between the tailpiece and the butt strap button. A finish crack can be seen below the neck pocket. Starts from the corner of neck pocket and moves towards and ends between neck pocket and upper horn. There are miscellaneous surface scuffs and scratches, more of them towards the lower end of the guitar near the butt strap button.
