You arebidding on a 1989 Fender American Stratocaster in EXCELLENT condition. Clean as a whistle from a non-smokinghome. The back profile is a realsoft C shape, much more comfortable than the new strats. Think of a 62 strat profile, then add medium jumbo frets and a 9-1/2 radius and thats pretty much what this is. This is one of those that you start playingat the music store and cant put down at least thats what happened tome!! I hate to get rid of this because I truly believe these late 80s strats to be the best guitars Fender made for playability, but I already have THREE! So its time to start off-loading for another hobby. The pick-ups sound beautiful. Bright, bell-like tones out of the neckpick-up. Sounds a little darker than the new strats. A little more meat behind it. Glassy, but not screechyif that makes any sense! The frets are in absolutely beautiful shape and the back of the neck is silky smooth with no dents or imperfections. This guitar is near mint with the exception of one small impression on the fretboard above the first fret. There is a zoomed in photo below with a green arrow. I noticed it before I bought it, but the guitar played so dang well that I just chose to ignore it. Im confident you will too! Thanks and Good Luck!! I can’t believe I forgot to mention, but this guitar has one of the very sought after “J Uribe” necks. He made some of the best playing necks in the 80’s. Most likely why it plays so well.
