For sale is a 1983 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Studio Standard with the original case. This guitar is in good condition and in perfect working order. There are some scratches, dings, wear on the back, and a couple of spots where the clear coat has bubbled. Overall, I would rate the condition, a solid 7.5 out of 10. The tuners, nut, frets, pick-guard, bridge, and tail-piece have been replaced. Most of it was replaced for gold hardware and I think it looks great. Everything else on the guitar including the pickups and pots are original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The non-original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case works great. Nut Width: 1.71. 1st Fret: 0.82. 12th Fret: 0.98. Neck Type: Slim Taper. Pickups: Original “Tim Shaw” Era Humbuckers.
