Kramer Baretta Special 2020 Custom Red/White themed electric guitar. I have been an artist my entire life as well as playing guitar and tinkering and learning, same as one of my great superheroes did. During the pandemic, I decided to build and paint a couple of my own guitars and make my replicas of each in the same mindset and using as close to the original parts and materials as possible with some modern upgrades with some of the supplies used. I have created a few that I’ve chosen to share so that I might continue being able to further explore the mix of my artistic ability with utmost creativity and my deep love of guitar. Here are some of the results. Please feel free to message me and plan to enjoy it! Each guitar has been created and finished with NO off brand parts used, yet I want to keep them affordable enough where if someone like myself wants one or more, they can afford them. I have made each guitar with all the best and uniquely as close to the original parts as I could l, using Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan pickups, Floyd Rose Tremolos, the best Grover or Gotoh styled tuners (for specific details for each guitar please inquire) I could find and all high quality paints and finishes. These are all done using a Satin based clearcoat and buffed out to a nice semi gloss luster, but if you prefer a gloss finish, I will do so for you at no extra cost. Up for sale is an 80s Kramer JK 1000. No breaks or repairs. All original hardware including the good German thick cast plate, nickel plated brass block, Floyd original tremolo. Gotoh Japan logo tuners. Truss rod checks out good and neck is straight. German Floyd rose and German nut. The electronics look to be original or high quality replacements. No brand markings on them. The tremolo posts may possibly be replacements too. They are the machine bushing style which are a huge improvement over the wood screw type. Kramer Baretta II Monsters of Rock. One of the coolest pieces of 1980s guitar nostalgia you can ask for: this is a Kramer Baretta II as part of the rare run (about 50 pieces made) to promote the Monsters of Rock 1988 Tour which saw Van Halen promoting the OU812 record, alongside other Rock giants like Metallica, Dokken, Scorpions and Kingdome Come. The Baretta II model was to be more of a competitive market introduction to compete with Charvel/Jackson. Additionally, it is thought that Kramer switched the headstock design to the pointy variety in order to make themselves “More Jackson-like”. It is ironic that, Kramer had built its reputation based on a banana or hockey-stick headstock design, and then changed their identify to be something they were far from being. Many customers were upset with this change, and requested banana headstocks during this era. To this day, the banana/pointy dividing line among collectors seems to be a way of labeling themselves as found of one era or the other. The Baretta II body consisted of the same wood types as the original Baretta, maple or poplar. The original II’s feature a soloist that are similar to today’s ESP Kamikazi models. These bodies ran across the Kramer product line into the Pacer models, and are easily distinguished from later “Dinky Soloist” bodies that will be discussed farther down in this page. To see more on Kramer bodies in detail. Hardware and electronics wise, the guitars were essentially the same as the original Baretta design with minor exceptions.. The Baretta II with Large Soloist Body lasted well into 1987, and have been seen with not only standard block logos with the American Script, but also with the newer Pyramid logo that surfaced in early 1987. These are inter-mixed with the second run of Baretta II’s with the Smaller “Dinky” Soloist shape which will be discussed in the next section. The Baretta II Large Soloist body stopped sometime within the Late E plate serial numbers. Any large body thats seen in the F plates should be questioned, but not necessarily written off as a “mutt”. Seymour Duncan B 6. Launched in 1980, the Duncan Distortion is our original high output humbucker. Very interesting vintage guitar with unique features that have Mick’s preferences. This 1990 Kramer Mick Mars guitar is from the run of guitars manufactured by Kramer during the late 1980s and during the period that print advertisements featuring Mick Mars and his Kramer Guitars were circulated to major publications by Kramer Neptune New Jersey. During the time i have owned this one i have intricately examined it with great detail and recorded every specification of this guitar accurately on paper notes. Every question a guitar luthier would ask about this Mick Mars Kramer I have answered and documented with white glove reverence. Notes that I may use in the future and photos and information i will share with you now. Kramer Neptune NewJersey had no log and no records exist indicating how many of these collectible Kramers were manufactured. Yet Mick did play these. Back of the neck is the multi-piece maple Kramer neck type of the later 80’s Kramer era of manufacturing. BRIDGE TREMOLO: vintage 1990 Genuine Floyd Rose stamped “Original” under the Floyd Rose logo on the bridges baseplate. The tremolo pivot posts/studs are ESP type with brass bushings period correct 1990 and original to this guitar – unmodified. Pivot post like these were seen often with the ESP Sinclair tremolo systems in this era. An early 1990s type SD baseplate can be seen. It is an authentic made in Japan Mick Mars Model Kramer manufactured in 1990. IT WILL BE DELIVERED EXACTLY AS PICTURED. It is is near immaculate condition yet there are visible modifications. The original volume pot code was used and the date code engraved on the volume showing “03K” which is 1990 verified by the first digit. The guitar was manufactured in 1990 by Kramer. He original volume pot is included with sale. A replacement volume pot is in place. There is moderate fret wear to the original Kramer factory frets. Kramer Imperial Explorer Floyd Rose Guitar Blue Purple Finish EMG HZ Pickups

Up for sale is this pretty rare finish Kramer Imperial Explorer Floyd Rose equipped Electric Guitar with upgraded EMGHz pickups and Gotoh tuners. This finish is the Purple finish but looks like a dark Blue finish as I have this same guitar in the Candy Blue finish which looks Candy Blue where as this guitar is a very dark blueish Purple finish and looking at the finish options that were available for this guitar it would make this one the Metallic Purple finish. But see pics and make up your own mind. Either way its a very cool finish and pretty rare as are these Kramer Floyd Explorer guitars as well. This guitar is a 24 fret 25.5 scale length with a factory installed Kramer branded Floyd Rose bridge. I upgraded the original Quad Rail Pickups to a EMGHz H4 in the Bridge and a EMGHz H3 in the neck. Both pickups are coil split with a push pull tone pot. I also upgraded the tuners to Black Gotoh tuners. I do not have any gig bag or hard shell case for this guitar but it has spent its life on a guitar stand. These were made for a very short time during the Music Yo era and were only offered for a year or two. These were offered with fixed bridges or Floyd Rose bridge versions. These were offered in a couple different finish options. These finish options were Metallic Black Sparkle, Candy Blue, Candy Red, White, Metallic Purple. There are a few digs here and there but nothing too major. The worst is a crack on each side of the neck pocket which is purely cosmetic and in the finish not the wood (see pics). There is also a tiny ding on the face of the guitar behind the bridge (see pics) and on the top back bout of the guitar (see pics) which Ive tried to capture in the pics but again this is a very hard finish to photograph. Please keep in mind I do have a full time job and I usually work 12 hours a day 6 days a week, so please be patient when waiting for a reply as I usually get home late and will always try to at least make contact with you letting you know I got your question. There is NO case or gig bag included with this guitar. You will not be disappointed with this guitar. Please review all pics as they are part of the description. KRAMER BARETTA II EYEBALL GRAPHIC AMERICAN Electric Guitar An excellent and very rare Kramer Baretta II Graphic Electric Guitar!!! It has a beautiful Dripping Eyeball Graphic finish, a 22 fret fully bound Rosewood fretboard with Kramer Pearl Claw inlays, Black hardware, Schaller tuners, and an original German made Floyd Rose locking tremolo with a big brass sustain block upgrade and includes the whammy bar. It has 2 EMG active pickups that sound great! (EMG-81 & EMG-85, and also includes the original Seymour Duncan humbuckers in case the new owner wants it like it came from Kramer). And I installed an EMG-PA-2 Preamp Booster with switch on front and level adjust inside. It is 25.5 scale, the neck width at the nut is 1 & 5/8, and it weighs 8.8 pounds. The condition is excellent(a 9 out of 10) with light normal signs of use and shows light fret wear, the guitar is really excellent all around with no problems except for light playing scratches(See pics). It’s my personal baby and plays like butter! This is a top dog carrguitar pick from long ago! Serial#F835, made in USA, includes the excellent hard case and original Seymour Duncan pickups. This one comes out of my personal collection, and is the only one like it that myself and several others have ever seen, I don’t want to sell it, but for the right price I can let it go.
