It plays and sounds exactly like a dream–the neck is one piece mahogany and is the fatter 59 neck with 1 11/16ths nut–the case is in great shape inside with a few worn spots outside. The guitar itself has been played–there are pick marks above and below the strings and on the guard–there are some mild wormings on the back but not through to the wood–some of the hardware has dimmed over the 40 years-there are a couple minor finish cracks that are very hard to see but essentially no checking–the nitro finish is the rare ferrari red and is in beautiful shape–hard to photograph without reflections–as mentioned the original hang tags–registration and checklist and keys to the case are included–the Brazilian Rosewood board is in wonderful shape and is one of the darkest i’ve seen–the frets are in good shape with perhaps 70% life left and plenty of meat for recrowning if desired–the guitar plays up and down the neck without buzzing and with no dead spots. This is a beautiful example of the first year of issue for the es-335 dot series that will make any professional musician very happy. Tim Shaw PAF humbuckers. Single piece mahogany neck. Under the subtitle above “condition” there is a remnant from an earlier guitar that i missed when using that as a template–sorry for any confusion but i assume by the photographs it’s clear that was a mistake. Also it should be noted that this is a second from the factory as seen in the back of the headstock scan–the only possible explanation for this is the very small finish cracks mentioned in the description which are likely native to the guitar and caused it to be a “second” — the top is of course laminate as are all 335s so no crack goes into the wood and the two mentioned were nearly impossible to photograph being so small. For sale is a 2010 PRS Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 25th Anniversary in a beautiful Amber 10 Top with original case. This instrument is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches, dings, and a little clear coat blushing. Overall, I would give it a solid 9 out of 10 condition. Everything on the guitar is original. We do not have the Eagle Tag. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The original case works great. 1979 Fender Stratocaster 25th Anniversary Model in SILVER in overall good condition, with molded circa 1980s Fender hardshell case. This Silver 25th Anniversary Strat has some issues and scars, but it’s a cool cool guitar. The neck is a serial number S9xxxx (etc) – which makes this neck a 1979 neck. This is not the original neck to this Strat, but is from the correct year. Features Grover tuners (so there are small screw holes), a repro black 70s style pick guard with Fender Custom Shop pickups sound great! She has some chips, scratches and dings as you can see in the photos – but she’s got a cool relic vintage vibe to her – the Silver finish has aged nicely, and somewhat ambered to give it a nice antiqued look. It has the rare Binding on the neck like Les Pauls and the pickups are the 57/08 Humbuckers (1957/2008)Pickups Is what the paper work states vintage alinico magnets Great Sounding The 2 small Flaws I tried to capture in picture the best I could there is a small flaw in the clear bout 1.5mm big on the body at the center lower where the the guitar would rest on your leg when playing photo 5 and photo 6 is a tiny nick at the left upper part of the neck pisses me off. And the case is flawless with all the paper work and anything that came with it. Now I have to put A Low. Not happy with them.
