This guitar is a gorgeous 2006 Taylor 714ce! It has Cedar for its top wood, and unlike the newest version of this model, it uses rosewood back and sides. There is gorgeous rosewood binding along the edge of the ebony fretboard. The case and guitar been well cared for these last 15 years. She also comes with a new pack of Elixir bronze phosphorus strings, two guitar straps, and a Daddario capo. I love this guitar but I need to thin out the herd. I hope the new owner enjoys it for many years! Theres been no change in the finish in the time Ive had the guitar, so I dont expect it to change any more over time. The back and front though are completely gorgeous and show no such finish issue. Attached at the end is a picture of the listings of what the newest version of this mode would cost. This is an absolutely gorgeous Taylor 714ce SD Acoustic Electric Guitar made in 2011. It is a special order that did not have an ES System installed. The SD in the model indicates that the guitar utilizes a Sitka Spruce Top instead of Cedar for more midrange focus, and a little boost on the bottom end. The guitar features Indian Rosewood Back and Sides. The scale length is 25 11/16″ with a nut width of 1 3/4″. There are no cracks or repairs… The guitar is in superb condition with the only notable blemish being a little delamination on the D tuning machine and beside the A tuning machine. They are minuscule but i believe in full disclosure. The guitar has a perfect neck angle providing 4/32″ and 3/32″ action at the 12th fret with a nice tall saddle. The frets are in great shape with zero playability issues and precise intonation. The guitar is ready to gig, and the new owner will be more than satisfied. Taylor 714ce Acoustic Electric guitar Cedar Top Rosewood back and sides w case. Played out a lot with this guitar its my loudest one. It has lacquer scratches and lines from playing it a lot im pretty sure you could see them in the pictures. Im the original owner play both gigs and home the electronics are good. It does have some fret-wear. There are scratches and I could send more pics if needed. The Taylor logo is inlayed. There is a photo with a line in the finish there are about 4 of those on the guitar. So this guitar is well played. I shined a bright light in and around the lines and its just in the finish not through the wood.
