Scroll down to see 45 HD images of this guitar Here’s a LEFT HANDED 2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic in a factory original Cherry Sunburst finish. This guitar is in pretty decent condition and has about average type of playwear. She has some light scratches, some light indents on the top, and few small dings on the sides. The back is actually pretty clean. Some of the clear coat peeled off the front of the headstock and the prior owner tried to buff it out a bit – mainly visible up close and in the right light. She has the “1960” on the pickguard, albeit a bit faded over the last 21 years. One of the knobs has a crack, but I replaced it after the pics. Just had a fresh set up and plays beautifully. All the electronics work well – all the pots and solder joints are unmolested. The neck is straight and the frets are in very good condition. The pickups are the original Gibson USA Humbucker pickups Alnico 496R & 500T if I’m not mistaken. It has just been detailed. The front, back, sides and neck were waxed and buffed with a high grade carnuba wax. The frets were polished and the fingerboard was cleaned, buffed and moisturized with an instrument grade lemon oil. It was set up with 10/46’s, adjusted and plays very nicely. All the electronics work well. She has a slim 60’s neck profile and weighs 9.1 lbs on a digital scale. Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case with some “art work” and paperwork as seen in the pictures. It’s a superb example of an early LP Classic – kind of a pre-cursor to the Historic line. This guitar is in good condition with light/average playwear. The top is clean and glossy but does have a few small indents mainly visible at an angle to the light. The back has some light scratches and quiggle indents from a buckle. It has a nice dark rosewood fingerboards and the frets are in good condition. All the electronics work perfectly. The neck is straight and she plays beautifully.
