Gibson USA / Les Paul Standard 60s Figured Top Honey Amber. This custom color model features an AA figured maple top, a slim taper neck that follows the classic 60s style, and metal insert top hat knobs. This is a 2023 Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s figured top. It has an AA figured maple top, a non-weight-relieved mahogany back, a mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, 60s Burstbucker pickups, Grover tuners, a wire-free ABR bridge with an aluminum bridge tailpiece, and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors. There are some minor scratches, but the condition is excellent. It has been set up (cleaned, strings changed, truss rod adjusted, octave adjusted, string height adjusted) and is in excellent playing condition. The frets have sufficient height for playability. It is tough to find a top better than this one from any builder at any price! From the Golden Era of Heritage when the 4 Masterbuilders from the late 50’s were still working hard hand building premium guitars in the original Gibson plant at 225 Parsons St. Using many of the same 100+ year old machinery this guitar was even painted in the same spray booth as the 59 Les Pauls. I call that the ultimate F. U to Gibson moving out of Kalamazoo MI, “Gibson left their Heritage behind”! From my personal collection and batch. Up for sale is my beloved 2005 Fender Squier deluxe series Amber satin trans strat stratocaster guitar. Sort of a rare model with a very nice eye appeal. CONDITION: Guitar is in USED condition, with some noticeable dings and scratches. It has some noticeable dings with also some scratches and signs of wear. And not limited to wear in other areas no shown on the pictures. Guitar was detailed, adjusted, polished, Neck is straight. Truss rod turns smoothly and adjusts, electronics work as they should. Things such condition dings, scratches, etc.. You are home to sign for it (preferably) or designate someone at home 18 and older. To claim the item when arrives to your door. It’s a superb example of an early LP Classic – kind of a pre-cursor to the Historic line. This guitar is in very good condition with light playwear. The top is clean and glossy but does have a little finish dulling where your arm rests – mainly visible at an angle to the light. The back has some light scratches and a few light quiggle indents. It has nice, dark rosewood fingerboard and the action is low. All the electronics work perfectly. The neck is straight and the frets are in good condition with some mild playwear. The pickups are the original Gibson humbuckers. The pots are all original and date to 1992. It has just been detailed. The front, back, sides and neck were waxed and buffed with a high grade carnuba wax. The frets were polished and the fingerboard was cleaned, buffed and moisturized with an instrument grade lemon oil. It was set up with 10/46’s, adjusted and plays very nicely. She has a slim 60’s neck profile and weighs 9.7 lbs.. Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case as seen in the pictures. We can declare a low value.
