Serial Number: 221956 Neck Stamp: 3 NOV68B Body Stamp 37068. This rare fifty-one-year-old American-made Tele wears her patina and character with pride. She has the wear and battle scars to prove it. Some folks pay big bucks to have their guitar “Relic’d”. Pros know the difference. She was retired from the road by 2000. A renowned luthier gave her a new life with a much-needed fret job in 2007, and set her up to play and sound like she did in 1968. Original Case: Black Tolex, orange plush inside, the latches close and the Fender Logo is intact, which is rare. The case has had its share of knocks. It’s in fair to good condition. It’s had some TLC. Please look carefully at the photos. They are the best guide to the condition of this amazing, vintage guitar and original case. Original Fender/Bigsby B5 Vibrato Tailpiece. 6x original Fender “F” Tuners. “Maple Cap” fingerboard with 21 Frets Re-fretted 2007. Frets are in excellent condition. Original Blond finish has yellowed with age. 3 Ply White Pickguard has yellowed with age. Fender Telecaster Logo on Headstock. Includes original Black Hardshell Case with orange plush lining (Works, but needs some TLC). Chock Full of History, and Vintage American Mojo! He reused the original parts for the repair. Also less prone to cracks. Masterfully CRAFTED in Japan. Now nearing 40 years of age she is a. This baby is almost a time capsule. What a real beauty this one is your going to love this High Quality. Vintage Pro level Japanese JAZZ BOX…. This one is believed to be an early TERADA factory build! Hand Built almost 40 years ago. Yes She’s Vintage and Gorgeous. Well taken care of all those years JUST for YOU! Just in this is the great Ibanez FA300 series pro jazz box built. By master luthiers over 37 years ago. This baby has been well taken care of all these years. To the neck is excellent nice and straight and action play-ability is easy. It’s low an effortless to run with and a real pleasure. As the intonation is excellent as well it stays in tune well. With its original star tuners. 1-11/16ths at the nut same as my Gibson. Frets are still very good with 90% remaining. Electronics are spot on as well the Super 70s sing. Fancy archtop inlaied bridge matching. It’s an EBONY fingerboard. Fancy classic trapeze bridge. This one has its original pickguard too and it’s still very nice. I have seen countless high end jazz guitars with the pickguards. And the bindings shot and crumbling but this guitar does not. Have that the bindings are good not cracking. A slight aging darkening around the bindings can be seen on its back. But that’s nothing of concern its still 100%. Overall very clean example here. And much better than average condition for a 37 year old. It’s quite remarkable really… Finish is very nice and still shines like glass. Previous owner moved the strap button from original placement. On its back to a spot on center heel then back to the back location. I have filled and touched that spot up brush tip only. It looks good now and won’t continue to chip it’s sealed. Once again just a tiny brush tip spot. This guitar is the same model I had seen George Benson play. At the circle star theater back in the day it. Was a blond one too George was AMAZING!!! FOR SALE: 1978 Ibanez FA300 Hollowbody Archtop. The FA300 has a laminated Spruce top. These are known to sound excellent and play loudly. With less or little to no feedback and. The reason for this is that the Deluxe and Custom necks are the same before the front of the Custom neck is finished (Fret Board and Pearl Inlays added).
