This listing is for a very cool Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Class 5 Model electric guitar with a beautiful flametop and the highly sought after Burgundy / Cranberry finish. In the pictures, the camera flash makes the color and finish look lighter than it actually is. In normal light the Cranberry color looks darker. As you can see, it looks a lot like one of the Cranberry Slash SnakePit models but without the Smokin Snake graphics. So you could add the graphics and have a real nice Snake Pit copy. The factory original Gibson Art And Historic Custom Shop hard shell case is also included. The case is wore and has one broken hasp on the back but all of the other latches work, so it will stay shut and protect the guitar. There’s also a lock in the side of the case so you can secure your guitar while it’s being stored or transported and the key is included. The tuners have been upgraded to Grovers and the Buzz Feiten Tuning System was added. You can Google Buzz Feiten to read all about it. We’ll also include a Certificate Of Authenticity. The COA that we have is blank, so you’ll have the option to fill in the model and serial numbers on it. And that’s not to mention the Custom Shop case as well as the COA. Gibson only made these Les Paul guitars for a few years. Class 5 refers to the AAAAA maple top, which is (supposedly) a step up from a 1959 Les Paul Standard ReIssue with a AAAA top. The tops are usually highly figured or quilted and they look incredible. Spec-wise, the guitar is weight-relieved and not chambered so it still sounds great. With the factory relief holes in the body, it weighs in at just 8.6 pounds which is at least two to three pounds less, than most of the Les Pauls. That includes the Killer K tops or even the hand picked M2M custom ordered Yamano models or the Tom Murphy Aged Custom Shop Les Pauls. This guitar was made in 2001 and like any 18 year old used vintage instrument, it’s not perfect. There are some very small minor dings in the top and on the edges but nothing major. Otherwise, the guitar looks great and it’s still in excellent condition. We rarely get in Class 5 Les Pauls, like this one. W hoever buys this beautiful guitar, will be very pleased. Up for sale is my 1967 Fender Vibro Champ Blackface amplifier with original speaker. The condition is flawless with no tears scratches pulls etc to Tolex or grill cloth. 1972 HIWATT DR103 100W Head Class A/B Made in England Vintage Good Condition. 1972 Hiwatt DR103 Custom 100 valve amp in good condition with the original 1 x Partridge transformer and an equivalent replacement by. It has had all the valves changed but otherwise original. There are tears/wear in the tolex overall the amp but it is in good played condition. The serial number is: 3904. This head sounds incredible! The only mod added to the amp is the DI output via a ¼ jack. The Hiwatt DR103 design is also based around the use of four EL-34 power tubes and four 12AX7 preamp tubes. The transformers are set up so that the amp can be used with various line voltages around the world and speaker impedance can also be set to 4, 8, or 16 ohms with two speaker outputs wired in parallel. Hiwatt, along with Marshall and Vox, are largely responsible for shaping the sound of British rock during the 1960s and 1970s. Bands such as Pink Floyd, the Moody Blues, the Rolling Stones, and The Who have all used Hiwatt amps to help create their legendary sounds. With their military-spec chassis, point-to-point wiring, and marine-grade cabinets, Hiwatt amps are also known for being very solidly built. This is the amp that started it all! Seasoned guitar in very good shape. Clean Gibson Custom Shop best of the best. I believe the flame maple top finish is called Desertburst. See Gibson website to confirm the year of this Custom Shop guitar. I believe it is a 2011. I have had the guitar since 2013. Slightly overwound sound as compared to other Gibson Custom Shop Class 5’s I’ve owned. All original pickups and electronics. Plenty of life on the frets. Exceptionally figured rosewood fretboard (see photo) not laminated or “burnt maple” like recent Gisbon Les Pauls. This is a great example of what Gibon’s best craftsmen can accomplish. This Gibson Les Paul Custom Art and Historic Class 5 in Sienna Burst has been well played and well loved but needs to find another player to enjoy this guitar. The guitar has some shallow buckle rash on the back, weird dings near the bottom strap button, and a couple of indents in the neck. There are also small checks here and there but the dings pictured near the strap button are by far the most severe bit of wear on this guitar. Overall the guitar has no issues and is in nice shape. It plays like an absolute dream and is setup very nicely so it’s ready to go right out of the box. No issues whatsoever and the top on it is absolutely beautiful. Comes with a little bit of Gibson paperwork. The case is a bit rough cosmetically but works fine and keeps the guitar nice and safe. Please feel free to message me with any questions whatsoever.
