Black guitars are difficult to photograph. This Custom Les Paul is no exception. It was made in Nashville November 11 of 2001. It really is an exceptional guitar (but only after a few changes that took place over several years). It weighs 9 pounds, 1oz, and the neck is of the wider profile. The result is an evolved Les Paul that sounds epic. Yes, Tone Pros really does make better hardware than Gibson does and does noticeably improve the tone of the guitar. The pickups, are of course, the most critical component of the tone chain. The originals Gibsons were jettisoned for Seymour Duncan Antiquity which FAR exceed original spec and make this a far better instrument. The original sloppy factory wiring was replaced with proper conductors as were the capacitorsnow Mallory and MOD oil caps are in the tone chain. Condition: I see almost no wear on the fretsa slight amount on the 1st. There are some minor scratches here and there and a little impression on the back but this guitar could pass for a gently played instrument. But these are minor issue and the case is clean and solid. Case candy included as shown. The guitar has an exceptional sound and sustains FOREVER! Serial number is 03151502. I believe you would love this guitar long time..
