Description : Up for sale is a Gibson Les Paul Buckethead Studio Signature Guitar, released in 2011. This guitar has only been played a handful of times and is in immaculate condition. Due to age and the type of materials used, the face of the head of the guitar has yellowed; proportionately more than the actual guitar body. I think it gives the guitar a nice look, please see the pictures for details. The guitar case hinges and locks have all slightly tarnished due to age and environmental conditions, but with a good polishing they should look good as new. In addition to the guitar and case, I will be including a No. 1 stretch strap similar to what Buckethead uses, the original papers as well as 2 postcards from 2 different shows he played at BB Kings in NYC. This is a beautiful USA made 1998 Peavey Wolfgang Standard (Deluxe). As you can see this is the arch top version (higher end) with a excellent flame maple top in a deep transparent red and a gorgeous Birdseye maple neck. The EVH is in very good condition as the top looks excellent with not scratches or dings that I can see. The neck is straight and the frets are like new. The only blemishes on this guitar is on the back of the body which I show in the pictures (which are smaller than they appear in the pictures). I have installed a FU Tone Brass Big Block, Dimarzio Strap Lock (strap included), and has been professionally set up with 9-42 GHS Boomer strings. This guitar has been played but not abused. The original Peavey case is included and so is a Mogami cable. This is a excellent playing guitar that screams, and looks even better in person. If you have any question please feel free to ask. Here we have a really Nice–American Made –Fender American Special Telecaster. This was handpicked for me by a friend at sweetwater Music. Nice see thru grain on blonde alder body–nice color match with maple fingerboard and neck. Pro setup–Low action that plays like butter- no fret wear–and perfectly level– saddle screws are flush with the top of the brass saddles–no cut up right hands! Non beveled fender bakelite pickguard. John Galep hand scatterwound 5/2 Dawgtown pickups. Alnico 5 bass side magnets and alnico 2 treble side. Clear bass and non brittle treble–these pickups sound fantastic! 6 3/4lbs even and nicely balanced. Ive played and owned a bunch of these guitars and this one is a really good one. Its been played -1 tiny back edge chip near the jack–u can see it on the rear pic. Theres another rear edge ding on the upper back and a couple of buckle marks on the back. If your looking for a great playing and sounding American made tele under 7lbs this is it.
