Here is a beautiful jazz and blues guitar–light as a feather and resonant as a conch shell this thing is a dream to play–it’s all original though someone trimmed the truss rod cover with white paint and at one point the original strap button was moved. I bought this from a well known music store who got it from the original owner so its particulars are well know–it has a beautiful Brazilian board and the electronics are in perfect shape with that classic P90 sound so perfect for jazz and blues players alike. The wear and tear is pretty subdued for a 64 year old guitar with some beautiful checking and the usual signs of attentive use–mostly played sitting so the buckle rash/worming is minimal–there are no bad odors and the photos do a good job of describing it. The truss rod works–the neck relief is minimal and the frets are in good condition–there are some cracks in the binding especially around the heel that are shown–nothing affects its playability and all in all it is in great condition for a guitar its age. The case is a nearly new Washburn archtop case is excellent condition that fits the guitar perfectly. It has been freshly luthiered– set up with 11s and is ready to go right out of the box. Beautiful figured blonde 2014 es-335 all original with case candy and original case–freshly luthiered and ready to rock upon arrival. The figuring is stunning–the classic 57 pickups are very strong and capable of all genres including jazz and metal–though they excel at blues and rock nothing is outside their purview. The fretboard is also a notably lustrous dark rosewood and perfect with the blonde finish. The ES-335 retains its classic proportions: 16 1/2-inches wide, 20-inches long, and 1 3/4-inches deep. The neck is one-piece mahogany beneath a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid inlays and a single-ply binding. Additionally, theres single-ply binding on the top and back. All hardware is nickel, and theres a classic ABR-1 bridge with a stopbar tailpiece. Neck length is 24 3/4 inches with a 1 11/16-inch nut width. Cosmetically there is some smudging where a strap interacted with the finish at the heel–likely can be cleaned off if it bothers you–there are small signs of careful play wear shown in the scans but it presents beautifully.
