This is a July 2000 Taylor 314CE. It is well used. The top had some gouges I repaired using Glue-Boost. Not the prettiest repair. The guitar sounds great and plays great. Plugged in or not. It has a new set of Elixir 80/20 Nanoweb strings. It comes with a Taylor Hard Case. Introduced in 1994, the Grand Auditorium has earned a place as Taylor’s most popular body design. The 314ce model name indicates that this guitar is a part of the 300-series, which uses a Sitka Spruce top on Sapele back and sides. The 14 in the name labels this as a Grand Auditorium, while the CE means cutaway electric. Grand Auditorium with forward shifted bracing pattern and Venetian cutaway. Here it is, the Taylor 314ce with OHSC. The guitar plays well, looks great and has a cutaway for reaching the high notes. Truss rod works, the electronics work as they should and the action is very good. This guitar is almost 20 years old and has served me well on gigs. Get an amazing deal on a rock solid acoustic electric guitar! On the face of the guitar there are a few dents and scuffs (See pics). On the back of the headstock there is a small ding near the Low e tuning peg (pics). The frets from the 1st to the 10th fret have an indention on the B string area. (Pics) That said, the notes ring clearly and the action is low. The case has one of the feet knocked off and another that is pressed in a little. (pics) Also the case falls completely open when it is opened (pics). That said, the latches, handle and hinges are totally intact and it protects the guitar very well. Taylor Grand Concert ce Natural right handed acoustic electric guitar. This is a 2004 model and that’s the year they added the new Expression System 2 electronics. Built from solid Ovangkol for its back and sides and dynamic Sitka Spruce for it’s top. They Taylor 412 ce Grand Concert acoustic electric offers above and beyond playability. Boasting a Venetian Cutaway, a short scale neck, and a smaller body, the 412 ce will give you crisp bright frequency response, particularly in the mids and high range. This guitar is one of a 15 guitar collection I was lucky enough to amass over the last 25 years. I do not play professionally but for my own enjoyment. This means that the guitar has been in my home music room it’s entire life. I never gigged with it! It has no buckle rash or gouge’s in the guitar. It does have 3 or four microscopic dents in the top by the bridge too small to photograph! The voice on the guitar is better than when it was new! It has a big dynamic voice!
