Vintage Harmony Rocket H59 Guitar Early 60s w/ Hardshell Case. This is a very unique tone-machine! However, it does have a few issues. The original tuners are back on but it did have others at one time. There was a small crack on the bass side of the body that has been professionally cleated / repaired. It is completely stable and should last the life of the guitar. The pick guard is a reproduction. On the plus side, this guitar plays and sounds great and is in perfect working order. Harmony Bobcat made in the USA in the early to mid sixties and this little. Guitar is all original together with its case. Its finished in sunburst with a white scratchplate. Which holds all the electrics and can be removed complete and easily. Someone has overtightened the scratchplate screws and snapped off two corners. Of the scratchplate and one is missing. The controls are volume and tone plus. Is the very desirable goldfoil with chrome surround. The bridge is an adjustable. Wooden one with a chrome covered tailpiece. The neck is bolted on by means if three inset screws and the fretboard has. Twenty frets -all in a good order. Its a lovely little guitar with plenty of power, great for blues and plays really well. Here is a 1965 Silvertone model 1454 electric guitar, made in the USA. The serial # is 56697. This cool guitar is in very good condition for it’s age. It has some nicks , dings, and scratches. The neck is straight with good action. The frets show very little wear. All of the electronics work as they should. It has three DeArmond pickups made in Toledo, Oh. It has the factory Bigsby. Here is a rare one that you dont see very often. Its a Vintage 1972 Harmony H-420 Bass Guitar with 2 DeArmond Pickups. The neck has been shimmed, and the nut appears to have been replaced. It plays ok, but could use a set up and some new strings. The body is solid with no cracks or breaks. The pickups, switch, volume, and tone controls are all working as they should, and the gold foil DeArmond pickups sound strong, and have an incredible sound. The finish has some checking along with some of the typical marks that you would expect to see on a guitar this old. Please keep in mind folks that this is vintage, and with all vintage guitars, the new owner will probably want to make adjustments and have it set up to their own needs and style of playing. This is a very very cool color – a vibrant RED FINISH – kind of similar to fiesta red. She has some dings and scratches – see photos – but is in very good shape for her age. This Harmony Rocket which is badged Airline is a superb rock and roll. Guitar dating from the sixties. This was the rock guitar to own at that time. Heres an Original 1965 Silvertone 1429 Thinline Archtop Hollow Body Electric Guitar. These were made by Harmony, are the same as the H-75, and have risen to the top of the “collectables” with their retro look and sound, and are considered to be one of the finest guitars that Harmony ever built. The sound of these DeArmonds are incredible! The pickups, switches, and controls are working properly, and have a very clean & crisp sound. The action is nice from one end of the fretboard to the other. The adjustable neck is straight, and the frets and fretboard are in good shape with lots of life left in them. The body, neck, and binding are solid, with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. Theres some checking in the finish, along with a few scuffs, scratches, and pick marks.
