The guitar has very little play time in Very Good condition. The body and neck has no chips or dings and only very fine scratches that are only visible at an angle. The headstock has some scratches on the front and the plastic truss rod cover has a crack around both screw holes, a cheap fix. Both are pictured and is the only reason this is listed as Very Good. Blank truss rod cover has no cracks but does have some scratches. The strap buttons have been replaced with schaller strap locks. The original strap buttons, case, case candy, and the schaller s-lock strap locking mechanism are included! Nothing is wrong with the guitar, I just have my eye on a different guitar. NOTE: The screw threads on the schaller strap lock where slightly thicker than the original strap button screws. This is why I’m including the schaller buttons instead of removing them. For sale is a 2006 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul’58 Historic in Iced Tea Burst with the original case and certificate of authenticity. This guitar is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches and a superficial surface crack on the back of the guitar. It does not go through and is on a non-invasive part of the guitar. Overall, I would rate the condition, a solid 8.5 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition no wear. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The original case works great. This guitar is in freakishly good condition for being 18 years old. I bought it from a collector who kept it in a studio. This thing looks like it’s never seen the light of day before. It has the original hang tags, and case candy. This does not come with a COA, as Gibson did not issue these in 1999. This is a custom one off guitar, due to the factory installed Grover tuners, and lack of knob pointers. The only wear signs on this guitar are on the tailpiece which the previous owner had top wrapped the strings, which left some minor indentations in the tail piece. This guitar is gorgeous, but the color is not for me. It’s the best playing and sounding guitar I’ve ever seen and it hurts to let this one go. Message me if you have questions!
