This Beautiful Fiesta Red 2001 USA Fender Jaguar is in perfect working condition and plays and sounds fantastic. It’s an amazing guitar for fans of The Smiths, Johnny Marr, Nirvana, Kurt Cobain, etc. It is a vintage guitar so it has some wear on the side of the body (see picture). It’s stringed with a set of 011’s and comes with a fender strap in a handy gig bag.

This is the model that Kurt Cobain used to play as the frontman of NIRVANA in the early 90’s. He rewrote the rock world and disappeared. This is a lefty model of the Jaguar that Kurt Cobain used to play’ and as you can see’ it’s a lefty model’ so it’s more of a lefty than a real Jaguar. The bridge has been changed to a Tune-O type’ which is a familiar modification for Alterna and Grunge players. The pegs have also been changed to Gotoh’s rotomatic type. It’s common knowledge for Nirvana fans that Kurt got this guitar with these modifications already done’ but it’s hard to imagine him doing this to a’65 Jaguar’ but back then’ Jaguars’ Mustangs’ and Jazzmasters weren’t very popular’ and they were priced very cheap. But the alternative grunge movement that started with Nirvana’ and the influence of the grunge movement grew and grew’ and that drove up the price of these guitars’ but even now’ compared to Strats and other vintage guitars’ Jaguars are not that expensive. The Jaguar is not that expensive’ but it was even cheaper at that time. The guitar is a very good choice for people who are looking for a new guitar and want to play it in the studio. This is the advert for my. Pre-CBS Fender Jaguar 1963 USA. Please be aware this guitar is c ompletely original / unrestored and unmodified it also comes with original period none Fender case. At some time in the guitar’s life it has been. Re-fretted, but quite some time ago. I have taken the guitar to Rich Tone Music of Sheffield where Pod who works there has sympathetically re-dressed the edges of the frets for me; a job I felt really needed doing and what a nice little job it is as well. It has a nice low playable action which will suit a. Please be aware this guitar had never been taken apart, other than when the neck has been removed for re-fretting. Up for sale, a Fender Modern Player Jaguar in “Transparent Red” finish. This guitar is in pretty good shape and sounds great. There are some minor cosmetic marks around the body contour and some buckle marks on the back (pictured). The neck looks good (and the playability is excellent). The edge of the headstock has a few finish chips/blemishes (pictured). Despite its humble (made in China) origin, these currently sell for more than their original retail price and seem to be in short supply. I’m only seeing one or two available on the used market.
