THIS GUITAR IS VERY CLEAN AND ORIGINAL (HEEL HAS BEEN REPAIRED). TUNERS BRIDGE KNOBS AND LYRE VIBROLA TAILPIECE ARE ORIGINAL AS WELL AS THE WIRING HARNESS AND PATENT DECAL PICKUPS WITH BRAIDED WIRE. THE REPAIR IS STRONG AND STABLE. NO NEED FOR ANY FURTHER REPAIRS. THE GIBSON PATENT DECAL HUMBUCKING PICKUPS SOUNDS GREAT. THE PLAYING ACTION IS SMOOTH AND COMFORTABLE. WIRING HARNESS SHOWS 1968 POT DATE. THIS GUITAR SHOWS AN ATTRACTIVE WALNUT FINISH AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. SHIPS WITH A HARD CASE. THE PHOTOS TELL THE TALE. Angus Young has always preferred the Gibson SG as his choice of guitar, which first appealed to him due to their light weight and playability, his very first SG was a 1970 just like this one! The sustain and tone on this guitar are outstanding! It sounds great – meaty and big! Very good for crunch. The clean sounds are very strong as well. I can see why it is a standard for rock musicians. 100% original parts, Feb 1970 dated pots, killer vintage tone, original bridge, Lyre Vibrola tailpiece, tuners, etc. This guitar is in FANTASTIC condition. Has had a neck repair, like the majority of the late sixties and early seventies SG’s. Pro job, detailed in pictures. Showing only minor play wear such as some light buckle wear on back. Included but not pictured are the tremolo bar and the original case. The original case is in passable shape as well. WEIGHT: 7.4 LBS SERIAL: 916877.
