The amp works and sounds great. I just installed new Mesa boogie power and preamp tubes. There are some minor scrapes and scuffs from normal use. I see one little tear on the front right edge. The footswitch has the normal wear of scratches and scuffs and maybe a dent here and there. There is Velcro on the bottom of the footswitch. The amp appears to be a 2015 model since it is dated in a silver sharpie on the bottom of the chassis with 12/23/2015. I fully test all of the gear prior to listing the item. This is a Vintage Magnatone Mark IV Electric Guitar. This is a very rare guitar and were only built for a few years. These guitars were made By the Famous Paul Bigsby.. The Guitars were one of the beginning monsters that competed against Gibson and Fender. They were some of the first solid body guitars. There were only a very few of these made. For sale is a 2012 Fender Artist Series Mark Knopfler Stratocaster in Hot Rod Red with the original case. This guitar is in very good condition, in perfect working order, and plays great. There are some light scratches and dings. Overall, I would rate the condition, a solid 8.5 out of 10. With exception to the upgraded pickups, everything on the guitar is original. We do not have the original pickups. The pickups are upgraded to Fender Custom Shop 60s Strat pickups hand-wound and signed by Josefina Campos. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The guitar has been set up by our luthier. There is no buzzing or dead spots. The vintage example this is modeled after was made famous by Kurt Cobain who owned one of only two Gospels claimed to be built in the 1960’s. I’m the second owner of this guitar. This beautiful, well built, and extremely rare reissue guitar is in excellent all around condition. It was built at Mosrite Of Classics of Japan. All of the electronics work perfectly. Tone and volume pots roll without any pops or scratchiness. 3-way switch works without any pops or scratchiness. Both pickups sound wonderful and really portray the vintage, Mosrite single coil tones. Tuners also turn very easily without any hangups. Frets are in excellent condition with little to no wear (even in the first position). There are various dings, scuffs, and scratches throughout the guitar. I took quite a few pictures to show the more severe defects, but, here are some of them explained. Small dent (looks to be from manufacturing as it’s under the finish) between the tailpiece and the butt strap button. A finish crack can be seen below the neck pocket. Starts from the corner of neck pocket and moves towards and ends between neck pocket and upper horn. There are miscellaneous surface scuffs and scratches, more of them towards the lower end of the guitar near the butt strap button. Again, please see the pictures or feel free to contact me for additional. More than happy to do whatever I can to give you a good perspective on the condition of the guitar. I like to point everything out that I can as I never like any surprises. I will be sure to pack the guitar extremely well to avoid any damage during transit.
