Nr Mint 2007 Gibson ES 335 Dot Reissue Never Gigged beautiful flamed figured top. Exceedingly lightly light home use only. 2007 Memphis Factory Superior build quality. Never left the house. Madagascan rosewood fretboard (naughty naughty Gibson Inc). Amazingly fast low action all along the neck, no buzzes or rattles like playing on butter. Stunning cherry red flamed top and back. Classic 335 attack from twin 57 Gibson Humbuckers. Beautiful full low end buttery warm tone on clean channels. Love the tune o magic bridge. You can adjust the action in a second just with your fingers. All Nickel hardware throughout superior to a Les Paul. Simply wonderful guitar that plays itself! See and Hear at below Reviews. I’m a bass player but I collect lovely guitars. This is the guitar I’ve played most and have been having lessons on. That said I’ve only played it a few hours a month and then months would go by when it never came out of the case. I cleaned it with Gibson polish every time I used it and I’ve kept the dark MADACASCAN! Rosewood fretboard spotless with Gibson fretboard oil. It’s had very little play in a smoke free home. This is a real players guitar, see clip below, but also an opportunity for a collector. Much sort after and never to be seen again Madagascan rosewood. It’s like playing on butter. The guitar has a small ding on the centre of the back which has not gone through the lacquer and is impossible to catch on camera. You have to turn the guitar back and forth in the light to see it. The case as you can see is like new. It’s lived under the stairs keeping the 335 safe but it’s never been taken out of the house. This is a Canadian made Deluxe TDK thick wood case with a thick leather handle. You could put your guitar on a plane in this case with no need of a flight case. Top of the range. Note the last picture is Gibson stock which I’ve added because my photography is a bit rubbish. The Gibson ES-335 Dot has been known by more than one name over the last three decades, but it’s undoubtedly singular in its popularity as one of Gibson’s most well-known reissues. First known as the ES-335 Dot, then renamed the ES-335 Reissue in the’90s, this instrument is based on the technical specs of its 1960s predecessor. While specimens from the early’80s may command a higher asking price, all ES-335 Reissues are built from a semi-hollow maple body with a rosewood fingerboard, two humbuckers, and come with the identifying dot inlays. Its popularity over the years has landed the ES-335 Dot Reissue in the hands of many a famous guitarist, like Dave Grohl and Eric Clapton. Gibson ES-335 Dot Figured-Top Electric Guitar with Gloss Finish Features. 24.75 scale length. 4.26cm (1.68) nut width. Cream body and neck binding. Under-cut frets for the smoothest edge feel. Dual’57 Gibson humbuckers. Thin tapered’60s neck. Near Mint it has a small ding on the back that has NOT gone through the lacquer. Did it on the catch of the case putting it away. It has a two or three VERY tiny micro scratches on the front that polish out – if you can find them!! The kind of stuff that comes and goes if you obsessively polish your guitars as I do.
