For sale is a. 2001 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul’59 Historic Reissue in a beautiful Lemon Burst. With the original case and certificate of authenticity. During 2001, production of R9 models was limited to 500, due to parts availability. This particular year has been regarded as the best year for Gibson Reissue guitars. After getting and playing the guitar, it’s easy to see why, as this guitar is not like any of the R9s we typically get in. This guitar is in excellent condition, and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches and a few small dings. Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 9 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The original case works great. Nut Width: 1.71. 1st Fret: 0.91. 12th Fret: 1.04.
