The headstock logo is missing, but after some research because the neck plate design, looks like an Ibanez guitar. For sale as pictured, no other parts or accessories are included. The body has some minor marks and scratches, but the satin finish really soaks them up nicely adding character to the body. Frets show only minimal wear. Neck measures 42.49 mm at the nut; and 56.54 mm at the 19th fret. It is 20.99 mm thick at the first fret; and 24.76 mm thick at the 12th fret. Husk weighs 4 lbs. This body neck project has had a previous neck repair done at some point in its past. Cosmetically, it leaves a little to be desired but overall a very solid repair. Otherwise, this husk is in very good pre-owned condition with some minor blemishes here and there. Routed for soapbar P90 pickups. Frets show in very good condition. This husk weighs 7 lbs. Neck measures 42.65 mm at the nut; and 54.29 mm at the 16th fret. It is 21.64 mm thick at the first fret; and 26.51 mm thick at the 12th fret. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Here is a Gibson SG Special from the “good wood” era. Two piece center seam body with high gloss finish. It is in easy project form at this time but I had it set up and playing for a long time. It has no functional issues and was a great playing and sounding guitar. It just needs your choice of pickups to be completed. Wiring harness with Gibson pots and s witchcraft jack. Newer “Advanced Plating” chrome stop tailpiece. Nice and wide 1.71 nut. Very nice rosewood fret board. Frets are in excellent shape. Scattered nicks and dings but no cracks or repairs. There are holes in the top from a Bigsby or another vibrato. The neck was sanded slightly to remove the “sticky” feeling. Quality arched top hard case with center pocket has no issues. For your consideration is this awesome vintage 1973 Gibson SG Standard husk in gorgeous walnut finish. This body neck project is in good pre-owned condition for its age. Neck is free of any breaks or cracks. Truss rod turns smoothly with proper resistance. This body was originally equipped with the front-mounted control panel rather than a rear cavity cover. It also had a factory bigsby tailpiece. The date 8/14/73 is etched into the control cavity shielding as you can see in the pictures. It is in player’s grade cosmetic condition. Lots of little dings, scratches and a chip on the rear corner edge of the headstock. Some minor buckle wear on the back. Looks to have had some fret-work done a while back; however, the frets are wide and tiny just like it would have had from the factory. If it was re-fretted they tried to keep it with the original feel. Neck measures 40.14 mm at the nut; and 54.83 mm at the 19th fret. It is 19.98 mm thick at the first fret; and 24.58 mm thick at the 12th fret.
