ESP LTD Alexi 200 V customized read. Guitar sounds and plays great. This guitar was custom painted with ESP custom head stack logo. The paint job is fairly good, but there’s a few runs by the neck plate. And a few very light scratches. Other than the paint and perfections a beautiful guitar with the custom logo. It features a see through Black finish that has a dark purple tinge to it. It features the coveted Kahler Steeler Floyd Rose-licensed locking trem which some people believe is even better than a real Floyd (I do not have the trem bar), and 3 EMG USA active pickups. The tuners are Sperzels (non-locking since the guitar already has a locking nut). The fingerboard is maple. I will include a gig-bag for safe transportation. The frets are in excellent condition. This is a very high-end, boutique-quality made in Houston, Texas, USA instrument. Robin went out of business in 2010, and these guitars are long discontinued. I added a picture showing the date and initials and a picture of my young dad (2nd from left) with a young Conway Twitty (middle). Thank you for taking the time to read this. My father was a local musician in a 60s band called the Jokers best known from Rick Derringers hit RocknRoll Hoochie Koo as the band really laying it down. One of the members of that band Dickey Betts went on to play guitar for the Alman Brothers and my dad turned down Loretta Lynn to stay and open a construction company and raise his kids. My father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March and died quickly on the 4th of July before he could do anything with his collection. Two of his guitars seem to be rare, one is a 59 Stratocaster (Dakota Red) and the other a 51 Nocaster (Blonde). So that is the history of the original owner, now for some more information about this rare guitar. Serial number 0851 is die stamped on the metal bridge plate. The body date is 5/10/51 and initial T. In the neck pocket is consistent with the serial number for this guitar being originally assembled in the year 1951. This guitar was professionally refinished at Elderly Instruments in Lansing Michigan during November-December 1995. The present finish appears to be in fine condition but the body finish does not replicate the correct original historic “butterscotch blond” appearance. The body edges have been recontoured due to sanding during refinishing, the original fingerboard radius is distorted due to sanding from refinishing. The original selector switch, potentiometers, capacitors and wiring harness have been replaced (the original potentiometers and selector switch are retained with the instrument). The pick guard has been replaced. In other respects, this guitar conforms to the specifications of the model for the period in which it was made with typical Telecaster shaped ash body, metal bridge plate with die-stamped serial number, removable metal bridge cover (ashtray), four bolt metal neck attachment plate, maple neck with adjustable truss rod, round metal string tree, metal control plate, and two knurled metal control knobs. The guitar is housed in a replacement rectangular Fender hard shell case from early 60s with black Tolex exterior covering and red plush interior lining. I just had one of the best Professional Set Up this guitar. Adjust Nut slots for proper height, width and pitch. Adjust Saddle height and profile to match the fingerboard radius. FENDER JAZZMASTER VINTAGE CREME WITH GIG BAG -READ! This is the offset countour body with synchronized floating tremolo made in mexico in 2019. It is in like new condition with one exception – there’s a small ding/finish crack in the lower bout that happened in transit. We’ll show it in the photos but it’s minor and would be an easy fix for someone with touch up/finishing experience. Otherwise it’s essentially a new guitar. It comes as shown with the gig bag but without the whammy bar. This listing is for a late 80s lightly played Made in Japan Charvel Jackson 275 guitar, customized with a Bengal finish, a much better tremolo, and all hardware was changed to black to better match the graphics. He painted guitars for a living. It is pretty good but not factory. You could see a few flaws here and there up close, and it could benefit from more buffing and a thicker clear coat, but it looks great even up close. It is definitely an eye-catcher! The bridge is a Made in Germany Schaller branded double locking Floyd Rose licensed tremolo, equivalent to the coveted Jackson JT-590. The pickups are non-branded passive pickups (no battery needed) that sound decent to my ears. One thing that I wanted to mention since it is not customary and may not be expected, is that the middle position of the 3-way switch is wired as OFF (no output); so the 3 switch positions are Neck, OFF, Bridge. The frets shows wear consistent with their age, but still have a lot of life in them. The guitar itself is in great shape overall, as you can see from the pics. I will also throw in a nice, used gig bag for safe transportation. All in all this is a very high quality Made in Japan instrument, built in the heydays of Japanese guitar production excellence.
