67-68 Fender Princeton Reverb Amp “Drip Edge” W/1×10. This is a really nice Vintage Fender Princeton Reverb Amp. This amp is in great overall vintage condition for it’s age, with no rips or tears to the Tolex, The control panel is nice and clean, with a lot of that factory sheen, showing none of the usual dents, bends or major scratches. Even the Drip-Edge Frame is nice, and the original grill cloth is rip/ snag free as well. The Fender blue back speaker seems to be original along with it’s two prong plug, and the reverb tank still retains it’s original cover. Also as shown, the factory specs sheet is in nice shape and still firmly attached to the inside of the cabinet. The amp has not been gone through, only briefly tested for functionality. The amp sounded great, so warm, colorful and of course, so Non-Digital. The Amp had it’s storage dust from years of storage, so expect to find some light dust inside the back cabinet. The pots were scratchy but I was able to work most of the dust out and then worked fine. I would suggest a thorough cleaning, etc. As again’ we did not go through this amp, aside from the cleaning the exterior only, as we didn’t want to touch anything inside the cabinet. The grill cloth is original and looks great other that light age wear. The hardware also looks great as well. Just some slight discoloring on one of the handle covers. The handle itself is perfect also. Upon further inspection and removing the back cover, the screws were extremely tight, possibly never being removed? The speaker has the original green inspection sticker still on it and it’s dated “68”. The tubes may also be the original tubes as well. This is a fine example of this Fender Drip-Edge Gem, so don’t miss your chance to add this to your Fender Vintage Collection. Please view the pictures carefully as they are your best overall example of item condition.
