Up for sale is an 80s Burny RLC-70 electric guitar. The neck was broken at the heel joint and completely separated from the body. It was a pretty clean break with minimal splintering. Franklin Tite Bond was used to glue the neck back into place. Its a strong repair and aligned properly. You can barely feel the crack line when playing but there is a small dent right on the crack line that can be felt. It looks okay from a few feet away but obvious when inspected closely. The guitar appears to be completely original. Overall, the guitar is in good playing shape. The action is pretty low and the neck profile is a slim 60s. The neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should. The frets are in great shape showing some minor wear. All electronics are checked and sound great. Original pickups which are apparently VH1s. Thanks for looking and please ask any questions. We have all heard of the law suit era instruments and this is up there with the best, Custom specs including, block inlay, double bound body and headstock, Bone nut, fret nibs, the elusive VH pickups gold hardware and a killer sound! This is no cheap copy… Weighing in at 3.7Kg or 8lbs its no lightweight, perfect neck with a 10 fingerboard radius, minimal wear on the frets… Decades of play left in her. Set up beautifully on its original Bone nut with 10’s… It will destroy any gibson in this price bracket. The instrument has been wired to 59 LP specs, tone and volume controls have a beautiful taper and provide excellent control over volume and tone. The instrument came with a non original finger rest which we removed due to it being the wrong colour entirely (can be supplied if requested). The instrument has a few small dents/chips clearly marked in the images, headstock chip is the only sore one… Any axe of this age is going to have some signs of use! Comes with fitted hard case.
