Up for sale, a 2007 Ibanez JEM 20th Anniversary Steve Via signature electric guitar in near mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtags and hardshell case. Limited to 500 pieces worldwide (only 200 guitars in the USA), this 20th Anniversary model is easily one of the most unique and desirable JEMs ever produced with a solid acrylic body injected with swirls of neon dye and illuminated by green LEDs. Crafted in Japan as part of Ibanez’s top-tier J Craft series, this JEM features an acrylic body which was produced by a Japanese company that fabricates clear tank walls for aquariums. This high grade acrylic is precision cut to the traditional JEM body shape and fitted with TransJem pickups, designed and manufactured by DiMarzio exclusively for this anniversary model JEM to provide optimal performance, given the increased density of the acrylic body compared to traditional tonewoods. DiMarzio designed the TransJem pickups to have greater transient response than standard humbuckers, and each humbucker has individual coils tuned to different frequencies. The middle position single coil. Is based on the DiMarzio Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues 2, providing more snappy, clear single coil tonalities, and pairing well with the TransJems when additional cut or sparkle is needed. This is an uncirculated guitar that has just recently surfaced from a family member of the original owner. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It’s all original and 100% complete along with its original instruction manual, hang tag with the matching serial number, tremolo arm, bridge cover, strap, cable, used polish cloth, adjustment wrench, and the original key to the case. The guitar is in EXCELLENT condition with some nicks + dings, and other cosmetic wear. There is one small area toward the heel of the neck where the wood grain had slightly split on the back edge. The split is not even one inch long and remains a cosmetic issue only as the guitar itself remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound AMAZING as all solder joints remain original and untampered with. All pickups have great readings: neck-5.66/middle-5.74/bridge-5.75. The weight is 7 lbs. Up for sale, a 1968 Fender Telecaster Thinline in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A one-owner, first-year example, this Tele is an extremely well cared for and complete instrument retaining the original manual (with matching serial number), Fender-branded polish cloth, white coily cable, and Fender-branded black leather strap, as well as an immaculate original case. What’s more, as this guitar was produced in a transitional year for Fender’s finishes, the neck has an original nitro lacquer finish, while the body is a thin gloss poly. The rare and collectable first version of the classic “Thinline” model was only made from late 1968-mid 1971, and this particular example features an ash body with prominent grain and light figuring in the wood. Featherweight at 6lbs and extremely resonant acoustically, this Thinline has a clear and powerful tone with a percussive cut and twang that will satisfy the most discerning Nashville pickers. The original pickups produce an array of classic and well rounded Fender tones, with the clarity, snap and sparkle you expect in the bridge position, yet with the added benefit of the ash body’s midrange complexity. Both pickups compliment each other very well, making this Tele a favorite here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar. The guitar has been professionally setup and dialed in with low action, spot-on intonation, and fresh 10-46 nickel strings. The maple neck has a fairly chunky C shaped profile that fills the palm without venturing into “baseball bat” territory. The profile has generous shoulders with smoothly rounded fretboard edges, and the gloss nitro lacquer shows palm wear down to the bare maple along the bass side edge of the fretboard and central to the profile behind frets 1-6. The original frets are intact with enough meat for a level and crown in the future if desired, showing u. Niform decent grooves on frets 1-6 with lighter fretwear until the octave. There is also light wear through the gloss nitro lacquer on the fretboard primarily on the treble side of the board from frets 1-15. On the headstock, the original Fender “F” tuners are intact, and the original Fender Telecaster logo (the Thinline portion of the decal was not present on the early Thinline models) is in mint condition. The heel of the neck has the original clear date stamp from December, 1968 in bold black ink. Both pickups have their original windings and strong output. The original chrome bridge and knurled knobs are also present, along with the “top hat” switch tip, and the chrome is near mint on all components including the patent number baseplate, ashtray bridge cover, and F tuners. The pickguard is original and still retains an incredible amount of dimension in the pearl pattern. The original natural clear gloss finish is quite stunning on this guitar’s body, highlighting the prominent and wide grain pattern of the ash. There are a couple spots of scattered, light birdseye figuring in the wood too and a lightly ambered gloss sheen, which shows some wide finish checking and. A few small shallow nicks on the body as a whole. The finish is 100% original, and this is just about as nice as it gets. This one-owner guitar has been lovingly played and well kept for over half a century. This is a truly stunning sounding Thinline Telecaster that is completely original and dialed in to satisfy serious gigging musicians and collectors alike. The original black tolex hardshell case with raised Fender logo on the exterior is included. Ase is nearly perfect. The logo is intact and complete, the latches still spring open, the clean black leather ends are near mint and the stock handle is present. This is an Electra x340 MPC electric guitar in overall excellent condition. This guitar comes with two on-board effect modules, Power Overdrive and Dynamic Fuzz. It has the rare modified open-book headstock shape. The body is solid mahogany with a laminated top. The neck appears to be maple with a rosewood fretboard. The nut has been replaced with a bone nut; all other parts are original. All electronics work properly. The pots and switches have been cleaned and work smoothly and quietly. The effect circuit requires a 9v battery (not included). The repair is visible but solid. Frets have been leveled recently and are in very good shape. Action has been set to medium. The finish has a few small defects: chips on the back around the cavity covers, a couple small dings on the top edge of the headstock, and very light scratches on the body (nearly invisible unless you look for them). The top is laminated and shows some very fine hairline cracks. These are only on the surface, so they won’t cause any structural problems. The hardware has lost some of the gold plating and there are signs of oxidation on the surface. All adjustment screws work – nothing is seized. Comes with hardshell case. JAW DROPPING MINT and stored since new 100% original 1979 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe finished in wine red. With original type 1 protector hard shell case. You do not come across these as clean as this every day and I would not be surprised if it was the finest example of this Les Paul Deluxe on the planet. This has all the tags, documents etc that you would get if you bought it new in 1979 and it was bought new, stored away and remained unplayed for many many years. It was bought from a specialist collectoor who only collects either NOS instruments or unused items and to find a finer one, you would need to invent a time machine.. It is unfaded and probably the finest example of this guitar on the planet. Plays like new, no buzzing, low, fast action and dead straight neck. There is no wear on the fingerboard or the frets and of course all the electrics work as new and are totally original. Weight is 4.1Kg which is pretty good for a 70. No issues, no excuses, fully checked out and unreal for a 37 year old guitar.
