Up for sale is a 2020 Gibson USA Les Paul Studio in sunburst. The headstock has cracks extending from sides of the nut. They were glued with Titebond and clamped. Its a totally solid repair but the break line is still visible. It is aligned properly. Titebond glue joints are often more strong than the wood itself. Its been strung up and played without issues. The finish is in excellent shape otherwise. The frets are perfect. The truss rod works great. Thanks for looking and please ask any questions. For those wondering if you feel the checking on this boidy the answer is NO it feels smooth to the hand touch like a real vintage 60’s strat would feel. Same ntro lacquer aged finishes by JVGuitars in Northern California guitar restoration specialist since 1992 vintage guitars and used guitars sales and service and full restoration shop with a parts department in house. These are custom built by CNC then go threw further hand shaping to vintage spec deep sexy vintage contour body. This is a premium resonant body made of. 2 piece Palowania the grain pattern is great looks much like Ash and is a light weight resonant wood with good tap tone ring. This will make a killer STRAT. This color is a Vivid TANGERINE pearl lacquer in that all Nitro lacquer finish we have also used the famous old school under coat sealer tinted yellow same as Leo’s boys did back in the day (50s-60’s) these bodys are then thin skin top coated with nitro instrument lacquer and finish allows for woods natural grain to show threw thin skin shrunkin in for ultimate tone and is custom formulated by JVGuitars. Iv learned my painting skills from painting cars for decades now since 1970 at 14 years old (painted my 1st 1964 VW bug with my dads help) and I have learned all the different paint systems over the years as things changed painted dozens of custom high end cars trucks and bikes -helmets – guitars – even vintage furnature you name it for well over 40 years Iv been a Luthier since 1992. So there’s not much to say about this one other than it’s perfect–the tangerine burst is stunning–the flame exceptional as you can see–the back of the guitar is actually a walnut brown with red highlights but it shows up with the flash more red than it is–the front though shows up exactly as it looks.
