1973-75 Gibson Les Paul Signature. Here is a very rare Gibson Les Paul Signature with the original goldtop finish! I did not try to remove the pots, but you can see a “7332” stamped on the side of the Level Control pot, which could be a date code. It weighs 7 lbs 7 oz. The original low impedance pickups have been changed and vintage DiMarzios are installed. The low impedance pickups would be good for the studio, but the DiMarzios sound amazing with all of the different tones you get with this model. Some Mini Humbuckers or a set of Firebird pickups would make it really rock also! The body is in very nice condition overall with no major issues. There is some checking on the finsih in several areas as well as minor dings around the edges and some worming on the back. One large wear spot on the bottom that is not into the wood. No cracks or structural issues. The neck is straight and the frets show average wear. It’s in excellent playing condition with no dead frets or other major issues. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck has a few small indents. The headstock has some small dings around the edges and light wear on the top. There is some damage to the finish on the back of the headstock. It was probably a Factory Second and someone scratched off the “2” above the serial number. No cracks, repairs or extra holes but the strap buttons were changed. It comes with the original case which has some general wear on the outside. All of the latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and it has no bad odors. Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is great as far as I’m concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenece to get it to your preferences. This guitar is also listed on Reverb. There will be no exceptions to this! This is only an estimate on the high-end and it will probably be cheaper if you are close to the West Coast.
