The guitar is used, and the condition is excellent. There are zero playing issues. There is minimal to non-existent fretwear. The guitar is very lightweight, about 7 pounds even. The neck is the typical 1958 Les Paul profile, ie, fairly thick but not overly so in my opinion. Nice big neck as I say. Long tenon neck joint, lacquer finish, and has original custom shop hardshell case (with key). There are several modifications, but all are pluses, in my opinion. Of course, the original Gibson P90 (not pictured in my photos) will be included in this sale in case you want to return it to stock. Second, the original owner installed strap locks and placed one strap lock on the upper horn. The original strap buttons are included in the sale. In my opinion, this is a definite upgrade; the guitar hangs much better while playing with the strap going to the upper bout. Of course, the hole on the back is unseen while playing. Third, the same owner installed a tortoiseshell. Pick guard which is much more vintage looking as well as very cool. The original pick guard is included in case you want to go back to stock. There is no case candy and no COA. There is a dent on the lower side as seen in the next to last picture. All in all, this is a great! Player and a true custom shop reissue. Just like the old days. I have had this Junior several years, and it’s time to pass it on. If you like Stones, Mott, Mountain, R&R in general, this is a great choice. Sorry, but I have been burned in the past.
