Hello, for your consideration is a 2012 Fender Custom Shop 1959 Esquire (Telecaster) Closet Classic. It is in great shape with with no play wear other than the relicing from the Fender Custom Shop. It plays very well and rings out across the board. The guitar has a nitro Copper finish that looks great. It has had the following changes, pickups replaced with Fralin Blues Special set. I was going for a stealth esquire look and they do a good job, sound great as well! The original Texas Special Pickups and pickguard are included with the guitar. The pickguard is a lacquered bakelite guard with relicing to match the rest of the guitar. The neck is a late 50s D that is. 81in at the 1st fret and. 98in at the 12th fret. It fills out very nicley as you move up the neck. The board is 9.5in radius and it has med jumbo frets. The guitar weighs 7.2 lbs with both pickups in, nice and light. The saddles are compensated brass. It comes with original case all the case candy, COA and an inspection report/certificate from Dave’s Guitar Shop. It is a great guitar from the Eldred era.
