This guitar has a deep clear growl that is a one of a kind special sound. The original finish has natural players wear in various areas. It was changed to from the vibrola/tremolo to a the wrap around bridge for the same reason most of them have (better tone and tuning stability). There is an area of a clear overspray under the stop tail piece on the top of the guitar which can can be removed by someone who knows what they are doing. If you look closely, you can see a gloss in that area. The original pick guard has some warpage but is well intact. The neck feels smooth with a medium feel. Not too thick and not thin. All electronics and pickups are original. Pots date to 1961. The action is set up for low action. Overall this is a great players or collectors guitar.
