As it says in the title, you can not only get Les Paul sounds that are “indigenous” to the Gibson corporation brand, but you can also get to awesome Fender Stratocaster territory! Almost seems blasphemous to Fender for this guitar to be capable of such wizardry! But you also get that unmistakable tonal blend from the mix of the middle and treble pickups in the 4th position, as well as that well loved out-of-phase sound from the 2nd position blend of the neck and middle pickups that Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler fans enjoy so much! I remember a friend of a friend came up to us a gig and asked if he could come up for a couple of songs. And of course, we said sure! I’m thinking, yeah, that’ll work. Let me tell you, I was SUPER IMPRESSED at how his ole Epiphone sounded…. The GIBSON Nighthawk is similarly impressive… But even MORE high end, including in its sound! It is WORTH EVERY PENNY! The case is in good condition. Very good shape if you consider that it’s more than 20 years old! One of the latches is missing, but it’s got FOUR more and the guitar shuts in there just fine, protected very well!
