Gibson Les Paul Studio Black – Made September 23, 1996 Serial # is 92676522 = This Les Paul is about to celebrate its 23rd Birthday. It is in good condition for its age. A few dings, scratches and Edgewear. It weighs exactly 9 pounds. Has a Rosewood fretboard. I did some upgrades to turn this into a serious Les Paul Rock Machine. It has a set of Wolftone Marshallhead Humbuckers. Tonepros Locking Bridge and Tailpiece. Cream pickguard and knobs. I used max grip knobs for the vol controls. Anyone who sings and plays at the same time will love this feature. The frets have been leveled crowned and polished, Plenty of fret life left. The neck is fast and smooth. Intonation and setup are all dialed in. I have the strings top wrapped over the tail piece to bending strings easier. But it can be strung up the regular way without issue. Sonically = The Tonepros bridge adds sustain and clarity. The Marshall Head Humbuckers spew classic and hard rock tones in spades. Volume rollback is very smooth, and cleans up nicely. Killer woman tone in the neck position, with the tone knob rolled off. I have 40 years of experience working on Gibson Guitars. Ships in an original 90’s era Gibson branded brown Lifton hard case, with pink shroud. The combo lock is broken, but the latches work great, and it fits this Les Paul like a glove.
