Gibson 2006 Les Paul historic 1958 reissue, serial number 8 6631. Washed cherry finish, nice dark board, no breaks or cracks, no finish checking, two tiny dings too small to photograph. This one is all original except the pots and caps have been replaced with 500k CTS pots and vintage Sprague 0.015 uF caps, the original pots and caps are included, and it has been refretted. The fret work is the best I have ever seen, you would not be able to tell except the binding nibs are gone. The neck width at the nut is 1 11/16 the neck thickness is 0.93 at the 1st fret and 1.0 at the 12th fret, very comfortable neck. Everything else is original: tuners, nut, bridge, stop tail, pickups. The pickups are Burstbucker 1 and 2 and they sound great in this guitar. The metal parts have VOS treatment, they look aged, but the finish looks glossy. The guitar weighs 9.2 lbs. I do not have a COA for this guitar, it should have come with one but it did not. The son did not know much about the guitar, for example he didn’t know it had been refretted. When I got it I was blown away by how great it played and sounded. I have been through a bunch of Historic Les Pauls and this one is a great one. The case is original and is in excellent condition.
