Up for consideration is an older Gibson Les Paul Custom black beauty, looks like 1968? Has lots of paint chips missing, rust/pitting on gold plated parts, not sure where it was stored, would make great candidate for Refinish, as neck has no breaks, body maple top looks three piece that has separation lines from weathering, see pics- also original frets -fretless wonder, that are low!!! Needs a fret job, as these were low to begin with. Has the lightweight gold tailpiece, also nylon saddles on bridge that I believe is an ABR-1 I’ll double check it. Newer case-non Gibson (not pictured) –guitar sounds amazing and rings beautifully, as does not have a lot of finish left to hinder tone. Tuners were replaced at some point to Schallers, gold plating on treble side buttons are very tarnished/chipped. This guitar is 50 years old!!
