This was a one off special order that year and the serial number indicates it was the seventh instrument produced in 2001. The pots are CTS 500’s, the pickups are Custom Shop PAF’s. The fret wire appears to be jumbo with no sign of wear. This guitar plays so nicely it’s really hard to put down. I played it out just once having kept it as a studio instrument otherwise. The previous owner managed to put some small clear coat scratches in the back near the access plate which also has a related scratch. There are some other very slight signs of cosmetic wear which would buff out for someone who collects rather than plays but otherwise overall I’d give this guitar a 9 out of ten for finish. The top is beautiful, the neck is incredibly fast and the tones are pure rock and blues. I love this guitar but I’ve retired and it’s just sitting in its Custom Shop case which is in near mint shape… And that’s a shame. So, it’s time I send it on to it’s next home. Whomever lands this will find that to play it is to love it and it’s not hard to look at either.
