Up for sale is my 1983 Gibson ES 335 Dot neck. This guitar is as solid as they get and it plays like butter. By now you are noticing the blocks on the fingerboard. I put these on because being dyslexic, it helped my cognition in the orchestra pit where the only light there is comes from the music stand lights. I think the Schaller tuners are a later addition as well as the Classic 57 pickups. You must also be noticing the finish peeling and cracking. It doesn’t effect the playability of this guitar and you could even say it gives it some vintage mojo. I’ve seen other 335s of this era with similar cometic issues. They must have gotten the formula right eventually. Nut width 1 11/16. 12th fret is 2 1/16. Overall it’s a great playing and sounding guitar. The last photo with the dot finger board, I pulled from the internet. It’s not my guitar but it’s what it looks like without the block stickers. It’s for reference only.
