I bought it used a few years ago. I think the fingerboard was ebony. As a Les Paul, it is light and easy to handle, and I used it for regular tuning. Note: Since it was made in 1993, about 30 years before the serial number, there are a fair amount of scratches and dirt on the body and fingerboard.
