Burgundy Finish, Carved Maple Top, Mahogany Body with Belly Cut, Two tar back pickups, Factory Coil Tap Switch, Multiple Bound Top, with Single Bound Dot Neck, Truss Rod Cover inscribed “Les Paul SM”, Factory Brass nut, and factory Grover tuners. The guitar has untouched solder joints with 1980 pot dates. Displays some normal play wear with nicks, dings, and some surface belt buckle wear. No cracks or crack repairs. A previous owner applied some filler on the fretboard. Stamped a factory second with no visible production flaws. The original bridge had started to sag so we have put on a newer Nashville bridge for better playability with the original included in the case. A seldom seen Les Paul model and a very reasonable price for a 35 year old Kalamazoo produced Les Paul. Included is a Gibson 1980s protector case with one broken latch.
